HENDERSON HALL ,TALY BONT ON USK , A COMMUNITY HALL IN THE HEART OF THE BRECON BEACONS , IDEAL FOR EVENTS , MEETINGS AND WEDDINGS

Henderson Hall is a community hall which is available for hire for events; parties, weddings, training, presentations, sports fixtures, cinema evenings.  It is in the centre of the village with a large main hall that has a brand-new entrance lobby with ladies, gents and disabled toilet facilities.

The main hall can accommodate 160 people theatre style, 120 served at round tables, 140 people seated for a buffet. There are two spacious changing rooms with showers, a large stage, Wi-Fi, AV equipment with induction loop, a brand-new kitchen with commercial oven and dishwasher suitable for large events, a small meeting room. There is a large car park operated on a donation basis. There are also two electric car fast charging points which are token operated (£5 per token, available from the local village shop).  A large playing field at the back, now with a new Multi Use Games Area. There is now an exciting Bike Hub at the side of the hall with a bike wash, brand new public toilets and showers and a sheltered seating area for anyone spectating events on the playing field. We have benefitted recently from two large grants from the National Lottery which have considerably enhanced our facilities.

The new kitchen is large and equipped for large scale catering so ideal for a big party or event. A commercial oven, two fridges, freezer, plumbed in urn, commercial dishwasher, microwave oven are all available. Take a virtual tour of our facilities by liking our Facebook page- link provided.

Cutting our carbon footprint is really important to us. We have two rows of PV panels which help us run our air source heating. Our lighting has been changed to energy efficient bulbs and the water used in the external toilets and bike wash is rain harvested.

The Hall is a Registered Charity  (no 518549) and is largely run by volunteers, all money from bookings and events goes back into maintaining the Hall as a high-quality  amenity available both to our local community and our visitors.
